I have these legwarmers that I bought at Torrid last week and they're really cute. They are rainbow striped. That, I think, makes most people think "gay/lesbian." Each stripe is separated by a black stripe, so it's not technically the gay pride rainbow, but a lot of people would just see the colors and think gay.
Anyway, I'm not a lesbian, so is it misleading or offensive for me to wear rainbow colors?
I guess some people would think so, but I do have the right to like rainbows sans social connotations.
Also it's not like I can easily find leg warmers or arm warmers etc. in the colors I'd like even more.
