Fonix the Sock Monkey
Hey, I have a Dooney & Bourke coupon for $50 off a $200 or more purchase. Anyone want it? Expires 1/11/09, list of participating stores on the coupon.

Umm yeah so... Thanksgiving was good. Tasty food, yes. We watched Wild Hogs afterward and holy crap was that a funny movie. You should see it if you haven't already.

Having four days off was soooo nice.

I went with Steve and Tro to the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet (It's FANTASTIK) and we saw snakes and a few birds and a whole lotta stuff. It was pretty fun wandering around in there. I bought a pair of boots, about knee-high, now I just need some reeeaaaally long bootlaces (longer than 81" for my big fat muscular calves). Anyone know any place in town that might have some? Otherwise, I'll have to order them online and the only place I've found so far that isn't based in the UK is a site catering to lumberjacks or treeclimbers or whatever.

Also went to that pet store with all the reptiles and the serval and the kookaburras. So many tiny turtles! I want a t-shirt that has a bunch of tiny turtles on it with "TINY TURTLES" in big print across the top. That would be cute.

Work is going alright. It's been superbusy. So many new files have come in... we got over fifty yesterday and forty-something on Monday. It was a bit slower today; not as many files that had to be opened the same day, but still a bunch of other ones that are piling up (on my desk). When 4:30 rolled around my brain just went kaput.

The scale jumped down about four or five pounds since the last time I weighed myself. Five or six more pounds and I'll be able to let myself have that goal weight reward (nomnom purse). Then... on to the next goal. Then the next, etc.

I decorated for the holidays. By that I mean that I bought a reindeer (or moose... it's rather more mooselike than reindeerlike) with red antlers and a red scarf and a red nose that lights up, and set it on top of the tv, a spot that was occupied by a Beanie Baby turkey in November and Halloween-themed rubber duckies in October.

Yes.

Christmas music.

Chrrriiiisstmaaaas muuuussiiic.

Halloween will gradually die (like Thanksgiving) and then the door will be open for Christmas music/marketing to start promptly on July 5th. All of the Fourth of July stuff will already be on the clearance shelves on July 4th, and the Christmas stuff will be set up.

Pff.

Anyway, what did the math book tell the pencil?
